Q. How long does it take to make a movie?
A. That depends on the length of the movie and the complexity of the scenes. If we're rendering a simple scene with only a cube in the center of the screen at 400x300 it will take less then a second, but if we're rendering a complex scene with lots of lights, fancy textures, and compositing it might take up to a few  minutes. A good example would be the scene in the Christmas movie with the shepherds and the angels, I was rendering the video in HD (1920x1080) the frames took up to eight minutes a piece, and the fastest they went was three minutes. When the video is running at 30 FPS(Frames Per Second) and it's taking eight minutes a frame, one minute of video takes two-hundred forty hours to render!!!!
Thankfully there is a new time saving tool we are using. It's called RenderWeb, and it's an App on Facebook. We can upload our project and then people from around the world download the project, and render frames, the frames are then uploaded to the server, and we can then download the entire animation. When there is about ten computers working on an animation it goes much faster. Rendering has also gotten faster in the past months because of optimization to the code of the render engine, and because we have faster computers.
If you would like to help with the rendering on RenderWeb just keep an eye on our twitter, we always tweet when we have a new project up, and give a link you can click on to help render the animation.

Q. How much did you spend on software?
A. Zero dollars, all the software we use is freely downloaded from the internet. To find the links to the programs that we use click on the The Software Used tab, there I will give you a small description of how we use the software and will give you a link to visit their site.

Q. How can I get involved?
A. Spread the word, let people know about us. If you really want to get involved with the work you can send us an email at info@thebibleanimated.com

Q. How did you get your name?
A. Well we don't really know that, we searched for names on the internet and didn't find anyone who had the name The Bible Animated, so we decided we would use it. Believe it or not, but this whole business started by one dude, Brian Hanson, who never thought he would want to know when he first came up with the idea, or why he came up with the idea, and then he, after creating a YouTube channel, and uploading a Christmas videos, decided to start a company, but had forgotten when, and why he chose the name he had, and so alas we shall never know.

Q. What quality are your videos?
A. We try to make them the best quality we can. We don't have many projects finished yet, but this is the breakdown on those we do. Christmas Video, 1920x1080. Creation with Computer animation, 1024x768. That's all we have so far for videos. Our podcasts vary quite a bit, and all the tutorials, are some odd size, 1368x768, or about that I think.
